The MSLCRA provides bankers in the greater St. Louis region an opportunity to share, learn, and grow professionally in a cooperative environment. Formed at the suggestion of the Federal Regulators, MSLCRA members can network, learn through professional development opportunities, and serve through volunteer opportunities.
The membership consists of any bank or savings bank which has an assessment area in the St. Louis MSA and is subject to the requirements of the Community Reinvestment Act. The Association had humble beginnings with an initial meeting of four banks forming a steering committee on February 2, 2012. After thoughtful consideration, the decision was made to form as a non-profit to provide the necessary structure for a sustainable organization. The Metropolitan St Louis CRA Association was officially incorporated on May 31, 2012 and now has over 30 member banks.
